Qualified applicants are invited for interviews and visits to the UCLA Medical Center during December and January. Applications will only be accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). No paper application materials will be accepted. A completed application includes the ERAS common application form, a Dean’s letter, transcript, a Department of Medicine Chair’s (or designee) letter and two other letters of recommendation. Graduates of International Medical Schools must possess valid ECFMG certificates, be eligible for J-1 visa sponsorship and have the State of California eligibility letter.

It is unlikely that there will be enough time to issue invitations to applicants whose applications are not completed by December 1, 2007. In exceptional cases, where inability to obtain an interview on scheduled interview dates would be a hardship on the applicant, visits at other times may be arranged by writing to or calling:

Directions

The UCLA Medical Center is located at 10833 Le Conte Avenue, Los Angles, California in the heart of Westwood Village. The Medical Center is at the southeast corner of the main UCLA campus and can be reached by taking the San Diego Freeway (405) to the Wilshire Boulevard East exit. There are buses that run directly from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to UCLA.
